Broken Wings

I used to have two beautiful wings and I'd fly so far away but you've taken my clear blue sky and turned it into grey
I wish we never met I should have never said hi you took my wings, ripped them apart and now I'll never fly
You've crushed my heart, my soul, my very will to live I've lost the will to love, to hate, to cry, and to forgive
you say we'll always be good friends but I know that's a lie now I sit here all alone A bird that used to fly

getting over youI sit alone in my room every single night depressing poems
pop in my head I look, but find no light
I can honestly say
that i have reached an altime low I look outside and watching me is the omen of Death- the crow
I am dead inside although I stand here physically I'm trying hard to move on but thoughts of you keep haunting me
they tell me to get over you so i stand here with a knife 'cuz the only way I can let go is if I end my life... getting over you

forgottenit is said that being forgotten is worse than death and is that not the case? if my life were to end today who would care? i would be forgotten memories of me swept away like the leaves carried by the wind I would dissapear like a flame that dies my ashes return to the ground my spirit wanders looking for someone who remembers but finds no one. I enjoyed your poetry...i often go to pages with soely poetry and find myself bored and leaving quickly, you kept me wanting to read on. Thank you for sharing your art, it's nice to know that there are a community of people that seem to feel the same way; i only wish there was a cure
